Dawn is the calmest part of the day, offering the most consistent flights compared to later hours. We recommend dressing in layers for the morning temperature,  the air above will possibly be 2-3 degrees cooler. As the morning air warms, it's likely that you will soon shed a layer or two. Wearing closed toed shoes are a must. as you may be walking through dew covered grass.

Amish Country Balloon Rides may need to initiate cancellations for various reasons, including an assessment of the aviation weather conditions, which can occur at any time before the prearranged meeting time or launch time of your hot air balloon flight. If we cancel your flight over the beautiful farms, you will have the chance to reschedule based on availability or receive a full refund of your deposit within 10 business days. 

For client-initiated cancellations or changes regarding your balloon adventure, please note that if you cancel or make any changes less than 72 hours before your scheduled flight, miss the meeting time specified in your confirmation letter, or do not show up for your flight, your deposit will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued. However, if you cancel your balloon ride more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled flight, your deposit will be refunded within 10 business days, minus a $25 processing fee. Whether you choose private balloon rides or join our scenic shared flights, we aim to ensure your experience, meets or exceeds your expectations!
